  • Impasse Declared at Glenn Court
    Updated On: Nov 05, 2021

WILLOWS - Glenn Court Management and the UPEC Glenn Court Unit declared impasse in negotiations yesterday said Business Manager Chris Darker.

The two sides have been negotiating since September 2013 for a successor MOU. Court Management wants union to take a pay cut and start paying their CalPERS contribution. The Union wants the Court to extend the contract until August to wait and see what the funding from the AOC is finally going to be.

"Court Management says they have been deficet spending the past year however an 8% raise for the Chief Executive Officer didn't seem to be deficet spending", said Darker.  The Court has also set aside $200,000. plus for a new software program.

The Administrative Office of the Courts and the State Legislature are at odds about more funding. Unfortunately high paid administrators are untouched while our members pay for them, said Darker.
