REDDING, CA - The Redding Peace Officers’ Association is proud to announce its partnership with Signsations and River Oaks Retirement Community to kick off of the “We Back the Blue - Redding” campaign. The goal of “We Back the Blue - Redding” is to give citizens a visible way to show their support for law enforcement. Brian Martin, River Oaks General Manager and a retired Redding Community Service Officer, has spearheaded this exciting campaign.
The professional artists at Signsations and Inked Up Graphics have designed a custom graphic that includes a patriotic flag design featuring a Thin Blue Line across the statement “WE BACK THE BLUE.” The campaign will feature free decals that members of the public can apply to their vehicles to express their support of law enforcement. “We Back the Blue” t-shirts will also be available for purchase. Additionally, Signsations can install a thin blue line decal to a vehicle’s rear window by appointment. The decals will initially be available at Signsations located at 2550 Alfreda Way and the RPOA office located at 1800 Park Marina Drive in the United Public Employees, Local 792 office location. New locations will be announced soon. The car decals are available at no charge to any member of the public who wishes to show their support.
Donations will be accepted and any funds received will be go to the California Peace Officers’ Memorial, the Redding Peace Officers’ Association’s Blue Santa program and the Redding Police Department’s 10-25
Foundation. The California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation whose
mission is to recognize and honor California’s peace officers who gave their lives ‘In The Line of Duty’ serving their communities, and provide support to the family members left behind. The RPOA Blue Santa Program serves local families during the holidays with gifts and toys for underprivileged children. The 10-25 Foundation supports Redding police officers in times of hardship and tragedy.
Signsations is hosting a launch party at the local Signsations shop in Redding on Wednesday, November 4th from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
