San Francisco, CA - 

Presidio Trust employees finally have a contract with their employer. The agreement guarantees substantial pay increases in each year of the contract, as well as creates a transparent and fair salary scale and step increase system for the first time ever at the Presidio Trust. 

The new agreement is only the second ever contract in the 25+ year history of the Presidio Trust. The prior agreement had expired in 2011. This monumental achievement is the result of a long and dedicated effort including numerous LiUNA Representatives at both the Local and International level. UPEC 792 engaged with our brother locals within San Francisco, Northern California, the San Francisco Labor Council, and with the LiUNA International office in Washington DC to apply the pressure on Management that was needed to get them to agree to this contract. 

This was a full court press on Management at the Trust to show them that LiUNA and Local 792 is a proud, strong organization that cannot be dismissed or taken lightly. Our membership at the Trust stood tall and would not settle for less than what they knew they deserved in a contract. 

This effort shows what can be done when workers stick together, and when a Union pulls all the stops to work on it's members behalf to get them the dignity at work that they deserve.
