Dear LIUNA Local 792 Members,

This week our nation honors our public service employees during Public Service Recognition Week.

Our nation’s over 20 million public servants work hard to deliver for our families, communities, and country.  As frontline heroes, your work matters to people’s everyday lives. Throughout Northern and Central California, our members are the lifeblood of our communities, and we thank you for your unwavering commitment and dedicated service.

This week and every day of each year, I hope that all public servants feel proud.  Being a former Public Works employee, I know government cannot function without you. So, take pride in the work you accomplish and the sacrifices you make. You are the unsung heroes of the workforce.
